Welcome

We are Carter, Chistina, Damien, Layla and Skylar. Carter is originally from Kenmare, ND and Tina is from Anchorage, AK. We met due to the miliary while Carter was stationed in Alaska and moved all over the country before deciding to return to North Dakota to raise our children. While we purchased Maple Valley Kennels in 2020, we have actually been breeding for over 10-years. Our first passion was for Field Bred Goldens and we still actively breed and compete with them. Carter and the kids train and compete with the Goldens and Tina takes care of the small breeds.

When we aren't taking care of our dogs we can be found doing all sorts of outdoor activities and sports. We have a couple of huge gardens and are avid outdoorsmen. Our kids compete in school sports during the school year and hunt tests with our golden retrievers during the summer. Tina also manages a daycare in Valley City during the week and Carter takes care of the dogs full time.
